Manage Your Privacy Settings

Privacy settings help you choose how Gamefound can use tracking technologies.

Some tracking is required for the platform to work. These settings are always on and can’t be changed if you want to use the platform. For example, we need essential tracking to keep you signed in, protect your account, remember your cart, and support secure checkout.

Other types of tracking help us improve the platform, remember your preferences, or show you more relevant content. You can manage these choices in your privacy settings.

The available options may depend on your location and local privacy laws.

What privacy settings control

In your privacy settings, you can manage cookie settings that control how the platform works and how tracking is used.

As a user, you see these cookie groups:

Cookie group What it includes What it does Can you change it?
Technical cookies Essential tracking Keeps the platform secure and working. It supports login, session cookies, authentication, security, cart content, and secure checkout. No. Technical cookies are always on.

Gamefound privacy settings

On Gamefound, you can manage privacy settings from the cookie or privacy settings page.

When you first visit Gamefound, you may see a cookie banner. The banner gives you access to your cookie or privacy settings.

How your location affects privacy settings

Privacy rules work differently depending on your location.

In some regions, optional tracking stays off until you choose to allow it. In other regions, some tracking may be on by default, but you can opt out.

You can change your privacy settings when the platform gives you that option. When you update your choices, the platform saves the new settings and applies them to future tracking.

Change privacy settings on Gamefound

  1. Open Gamefound.
  2. Go to Cookie Settings or the privacy settings page from the banner or available privacy link.
  3. Review the available tracking options.

Note: Essential tracking is on by default. This setting is required.

  4. Turn the optional Analytic cookies setting on or off.
  5. Save your changes, if the page asks you to save them.

Gamefound confirms when it updates your settings.

What happens after you change settings on Gamefound

When you change your privacy settings, Gamefound applies your choices to the tracking technologies that use those settings.

Essential tracking stays on because the platform needs it to work correctly.

Optional tracking follows your current choices. If you turn off a tracking type, Gamefound stops using that tracking type where your settings apply.

Change your mind later

You can update your privacy settings later when the platform gives you access to those settings.

When you change your choices, the platform updates your saved preferences. Your new choices apply from that point forward.

For more information about how Gamefound handles personal data, see the platform’s Privacy Policy.
