Follower gifts

If you want to encourage board game enthusiasts to follow your project, you can offer them a gift for following the project before launch. To enable a gift, go to 'Project settings' -> 'Project details' -> 'Follower gifts' You'll see the following window:

Here you can define the gift type. You can choose between a discount and an item. If you choose a discount, you need to enter the discount value below.

To choose an item, you need to create it as an add-on first. It may have the price set if you want to offer it to the non-followers while system will make it free automatically for those who followed before the launch and then backed the campaign pledging for rewards or add-ons.

NOTE: You can’t change the gift type after publishing the campaign draft but you can edit the add-on and its settings. If you want to change the type of the follower gift (discount vs add-on) please contact Gamefound Support.

Remember to publish the reward or add-on first. Otherwise, they won't appear in the search. If you want to make the follower gift exclusive for following (not offered in any form during campaign), you need to set 'Project is buyable' to 'No' in the add-on Availability settings (in Product Settings panel).
